Y seguimos con los fuegos del verano…
Bien, ya sabéis lo que pienso al respecto como lo reflejé en este post. Hoy domingo, todo Portugal está en llamas, y las noticias dicen que el 90% son por culpa de pirómanos.Hace un par de meses, leía en diversos diarios cómo Portugal está abriendo sus puertas, y cómo Catalunya está abriendo muchas fábricas y negocios allí. Tal es el tráfico entre Barcelona y Portugal, que Iberia dejaba la noticia de una posible abertura del segundo puente aéreo (Barcelona-Lisboa), y Vueling anunciaba su participación en la licencia dado el alto tráfico y volumen de negocio.
Y mi mente malévola vuelve a las andadas… ¿estos fuegos de Portugal son todos accidentales? Portugal nunca había tenido excesivos problemas de incendios, y este verano parece estar recuperando el tiempo perdido… Como siempre, el tiempo me dará la razón, y veremos si las superficies quemadas son repobladas, o curiosamente se llenan con edificios, pisos y polígonos industriales.

soy Português e inadvertidamente ha passado aqui. Me parece que tus teorias sobre los incendios (escandolosos e tristes factos para toda la humanidad, en mi opinion) son interessantes. Te parece que pueden ser creibles (te pergunto honestamente porque nunca he escuchado nada como esso)?

Ante todo, no te preocupes por el idioma, porque te aseguro que yo no sé escribir ni una palabra en portugués (sólo conozco algo de oídas), así que me ganas por goleada. Si prefieres, me puedes escribir en inglés o francés, y yo te puedo contestar en inglés.
Respecto a si mis comentarios son creibles, te puedo decir que sí porque están basados en noticias publicadas en diarios. Algunas de hace 1 año, otras de hace 6 meses, y otras más recientes. Si recopilas toda esta información y le añades un poco de sentido común..., da para sospechar por lo menos..., pero sí son noticias ciertas. A continuación te enumero las más destacadas, de más antigua a más reciente:
- Creación del segundo puente aéreo Barcelona-Lisboa (La Vanguardia); en Iberia fácilmente se podrá comprobar cómo evolucionarán los vuelos y su periodicidad.
- Vueling tenía pensado cerrar su línea Barcelona-Lisboa por el poco tráfico generado, pero la sigue manteniendo (en la actualidad), además de su "puja" por la licencia del puente aéreo en el que Iberia ve futuro (La Vanguardia).
- Sacyr pujará en consorcio por una autopista en Portugal de la que Ferrovial ha quedado ya descartada (Europa Press).
Y a la fuerza tengo que añadir un poco del sentido común... ¿recuerdas la época de 1900 a 1950? Fue una época de guerras, de escaramuzas por la montaña, de gente fumando, haciendo barbacoas...(los cazadores y la comida en la montaña siempre ha existido, y antes más que ahora), y nunca han habido estos espectaculares incendios con los que nos estamos encontrando.
Por último añadirte que a final del verano detuvieron a uno de los jefes de bomberos por ser culpable de unos cuantos grandes incendios. ¿Realmente se volvió "loco" o existe por detrás alguna sustanciosa cantidad de dinero? No lo sé..., pero es importante que nos generemos dudas para llegar a la verdad.
En Tarragona ya viví circunstancias similares de incendios, y se repobló con Port Aventura (un parque temático). Así que vuelvo a insistir en que el tiempo me dará la razón... Son muchas circunstancias y muy coincidentes, y ojalá me equivoque del todo, puesto que entonces volveríamos a cantar:
"Oporto riega en vino rojo sus laderas,
de flores rojas va cubierto el litoral,
verde es el campo, verde son sus dos riberas,
los dos colores de la enseña nacional".

Thank you once again for your lucid and informed interest in my country.
Firstly my honest compliments for I think that inteligent people who have the possibility to do so should always be informed on a plurality of matters throughout the world and not focus too much on only one region, and if possibile should collect information from different sources (the national press and the media in general tend to give importance to the same subjects over and over again, to give you an example) and if possible share such information with other people (like you are kindly doing by posting what you think might be going on in Portugal regarding the fires).
Having said this, regarding your suggestion that this unsual and excessive amount of fires in Portugal last summer (and also the year before ...)could have been originated by foreign industrial interests, I have to open my mind to the fact that, given the lack of answers to this moment (most fires were caused by human yet very few criminal investigations were sucessful finished), your suggestions can be true.
Personally I find this matter very said and particularly damaging to all (particular the youngsters and the ones who are not even born to this date and who one day will say - and its only fair ! - that our generation didn't do enough to keep their assets, their patrimony, their future secured, like the ones before us, did) : Portuguese, Iberians, Europeans, citizens of the world, really.
What future do we have if we cannot find a model of development that is balanced on its effect towards nature? Who can we trust? Clearly Portuguese politicians are a bit disapointing and absolutely non-reliable (aren't they the ones to blame if the forests were not duly prepared to this likely-to-happen disaster?), but also the managers and entrepeneurs, as well as all the society, should do their part and this is where I think things get wrong...very wrong...All intervenients seem to be doing very few efforts in this area (not to mention the criminals that intentionally burn the forest areas down).
For example: during the summer the press could not talk of anything else than the fires on the forests, yet now and throughout all winter no-one said anything about the preparation of the same forests for this year's summer!! and no-one said anything regarding the reforestation of the previous burnt areas !!!!
Eventhough I am a Company lawyer myself, and someone who trully believes in the model of capitalism and economical development reached by work and industries I found myself thinking, in these last 2 years, what kind of future do we have should we not be able to protect the nature as we found it...this to me is a key issue (far more important than any judiciary cases, political scandals, footbal results (and I love footbal), most parlamentary meetings, municipal politics etc).
Well, I hope that this year will be different but I don't think it will be the case...
